Thea Westreich Wagner and Ethan Wagner began collecting art individually in the 1980’s and have continued their life-defining passion since they became a couple in the early 1990’s. They recently donated some 550 works to the Whitney Museum of American Art and 350 works to the Centre Pompidou. Exhibition catalogs were published in both English and French to celebrate the occasion.  In 2013 Wagner and Westreich Wagner authored Collecting Art for Love, Money and More (Phaidon Press), which has been translated into Mandarin and Czech. Individually and together the couple has published more than thirty artist’s books since 1989. They continue to publish books driven by and dedicated to artists.
